Description
Malaysia is a very technical circuit, putting tremendous demands on the drivers and their cars. There is usually a reasonable expectation of thunder-storms during the race, so the teams will have to consider compromising their race set-up in order to react to the rain, should it arrive.
The track can accommodate a total of 130,000 spectators, with 30,000 in the unique double-frontage Mall Grandstand. A stunning "Tower" Grandstand, nestling at the tip of this V-shaped Main Grandstand features a roof, which looks similar to the Malaysian national flower, the hibiscus. As the circuit has been built in a stadium-type location, with the track recessed in a valley, you can most of the time, see 50% of it irrespective of where you sit.
